The Southeast Fresno Community Economic Development Association (SEFCEDA) is a nonprofit corporation comprised of a group of concerned residents, business owners and community organizations working together as part of southeast Fresno network to improve the community. Our mission is to improve the quality of life of southeast Fresno residents and promote economic prosperity by expanding opportunities in education, recreation, employment, housing and entrepreneurship for healthy neighborhoods

We are pleased to inform you that the Internal Revenue Service has determined that SEFCEDA is exempt from Federal income tax. The effective date of this action is retroactive to February 24, 2011. Contributions to our organization are deductible under Section 170 of the Code.  The State of California has also approved our tax-exempt status.

Our first SEFCEDA Business Advisory Breakfast was held on Wednesday, April 18,2012.  We will share more information on this event shortly.
